Blanket Lollipop
From: cuteasafox.blogspot.com
Here is what you need:
1. Receiving blanket, mine is 24"x 28" but I've seen 30"x30" at the dollar store.
2. 1 Dowel - I spray painted mine white
3. Shrink Wrap - I cut up a Shrink Wrap back from the dollar store. Cellophane would be just fine too
4. Scotch Tape - The invisible kind
5. Flexible Garden Tie - I found mine last year in the Dollar Spot at Target, I bet you could find it in any gardening section
6. Ribbon
7. Glue Gun/Glue
Step 1. Lay out your receiving blanket with the back/boring side facing up.
Step 2. Fold the blanket in half, using a hot dog fold. (Doesn't matter if it is a square I suppose)
Step 3. Fold the bottom third, that has the open edges, up one third of the way.
Step 4. Fold down the top, one third of the way. The open edges are now hidden inside and will give you a cleaner look.
Step 5. At one end, start rolling like you would a sleeping bag. TIP: Don't roll too tightly or it looks a bit too flat with weird creases everywhere.

Here is what it looks like all rolled. This is a view of the front. If you look at the back, there will be an extra set of lines from where you folded it in thirds.
Step 6. Using your invisible scotch tape, tape around the entire roll in the very center of the roll. This will serve to keep the roll together AND give a place to attach the dowel to.
Step 7. Prepare your Garden Tie. I cut two pieces approximately 14" and 12". I spray painted it white. It wasn't the most successful, but as a few inches of the tie will show, you probably want it something other than green.
Step 8. Fold one end of your 14" tie in about 3".
Step 9. Insert the tie into the back of the middle of your roll. Push it all the way in. If you can see it sticking out through the front, then make your fold over a little smaller so it stays hidden.
Step 10. Curve the tie around the back of your roll and fold it over until it goes to the center of your scotch tape.

Here is the shape the garden tie should be in, if I haven't been clear.
11. Wrap the remaining tie around your dowel several times. (Sorry for the blurry picture)
You can see the green coming through, it doesn't matter, as it will be covered by ribbon later.
12. Here is where it gets shocking! Put a dab of hot glue on the center of your tape to attach the dowel. I tested hot glue on my tape before hand, I suggest you do the same. I also actually tried putting the glue directly on the flannel. It came off without damage to the blanket, but the tape seemed less risky.
13. Make sure the dowel is as centered and upright as possible.
14. Once your hot glue is set, wrap your lollipop in shrink wrap or cellophane. I wanted to be sure I had enough since shrink wrap does after all shrink. You can get 2-3 lollipops worth of cellophane out of one of those bags from the dollar store.
Here's an after shot of the shrink wrap. Careful not to burn your hands, but you also have to be careful not to blow dry the "wrapper" that hangs down. Mine I love shrink wrap!
15. Take your 12" piece of tie and wrap it around the base of the lollipop on the outside of the shrink wrap. This holds everything in place and helps stabilize your lollipop.
16. Tie a ribbon around to hide the garden tie and trim any excess shrink wrap. I actually trimmed quite a bit more after I took this picture.
That's it, you're done!!
I made three, stuck them in a Dollar Tree basket, with dollar tree styrofoam and some Dollar Tree basket "grass."
One final note: you can probably skip most of the steps and just put a dowel at the back of the blanket roll, shrink wrap it. and call it a day. I did that at first, but everyone I showed it to seemed disappointed it didn't look like a "real" lollipop with the stick in the center.

Washcloth "Candy" Rolls Tutorial
From: cuteasafox.blogspot.com
This is probably the easiest and fastest of the three!
What You Need:
1. 6 baby washcloths per candy roll. Three washcloths in two different colors looks good, but play around with it. I bought some of the Gerber brand, but if you had a serger you could make your own easy enough.
2. Cellophane or shrink wrap
3. Ribbon for embellishment
4. Invisible Scotch tape
What You Do:
Step 1: This is the washcloth completely laid out flat.
Fold the washcloth into fourths. The easiest way is to fold in half and then fold in half again.
Step 2: Lay the three washcloths of the same color end to end. Overlap just the slightest bit, so you don't have any gaps when you roll it.
Here is what all three looked like in a row. (Yes, those are all same color.
Tip: You should also make sure that your washcloths are all lying the same direction. Meaning that the loose ends are at the bottom and the big fold is at the top for all three washcloths.
Step 3: Start laying your second color washcloths down about 2 inches from the start of the first color. Lay all three out.
Step 4: Start rolling your washcloths. You want to avoid doing it too tight or you get weird bunches and creases.
Step 5: Keep rolling until your second washcloth color(white) gets caught up in your roll.
Tip: When I got to the end of each of the washcloths on the bottom(Pink) I had to reach under and make sure the next washcloth was lined up and rolling as it should.
Step 6: Here is the finished roll. I did some pulling and tugging in some spots to adjust but for the most part it looked just great on its own. I used some invisible scotch tape to secure the rolls. It didn't take much.
Step 7: Wrap in cellophane. My Dollar Tree was out of the rolls of cellophane so I just bought a basket bag to cut up. Shrink Wrap would be great here too. I made these before I discovered the joy of Dollar Store shrink wrap.
I secured each end by wrapping the scotch tape around it.
Step 8: Embellish by tying some ribbon around each end.
I'm sure this would be cute with other things like burp cloths or receiving blankets. You would just need to use fewer items in each roll.
This would look great on top of your baby gift or as a gift in itself. I am using the candies, my blanket lollipops from the first in the series, and some "cupcakes" as a baby gift and as table decorations for a baby shower I am helping throw.

Burp Cloth/Baby Sock Cupcake
From: cuteasafox.blogspot.com
Cupcakes made out of burp cloths and baby socks.
What you need:
1. Burp Cloth - I made a fringed burp cloth and mine was about 17" x 9". Random size huh? I used the tutorial at Home Sweet Home
2. 2 pairs of 0-6 month size socks. If you found some triple roll, you might only need 1 pair.
3. 4 cup size coffee filters
4. A Rubber band - not pictured
5. Ribbon (to cover the rubber band)
6. Scotch Tape
What you do:
Step 1: Fold the burp cloth into fourths and set aside. I wanted the fringe to be prominant, so mine isn't exactly in fourths. You can see what I mean in the picture.
Step 2: Start rolling your socks at the top. You want there to be a slight cone shape, so as you roll, go at a slight angle. You probably want slightly less of a cone shape, so maybe not so dramatic on the angle of the rolling.
Note: Have the toe of the sock pointing down on all of the socks.
Step 3: Add your second start at the end of the ribbing of the first sock. Continue rolling along, until all your socks are rolled up.
Tip: When I added sock #4, I just made sure to add it opposite of where I started sock three. In the picture you can see the ends of the two purple socks are opposite each other.
Step 4: When you are all finished rolling your socks, fold the ends of the socks up as neatly as possible. If you would like to, you can tape the socks off. I didn't have need to.
Step 5: Take the burp cloth you set aside and put your socks on one end. One guess what you do next. Yep, that's it! You roll it up!
Step 6: Secure your cupcake with a piece of scotch tape.
Step 7: Take about 10 or so coffee filters and put your cupcake inside. Multiple coffee filters help the filters keep their shape and look more like a cupcake wrapper.
Put a rubber band around the roll to keep the coffee filters in place. You can even out the ridges in the coffee filter by pulling and pinching.
Step 8: Cover the rubber band with ribbon. I had redone the cupcake about 3 times and taken 150 pictures by this point, but apparently I forgot a picture of this step. I just heat sealed both ends of ribbon and taped it at the back with a piece of scotch tape. I would also consider hot gluing the ribbon on too.
One last note: After I got finished with all of the cupcakes I decided the socks were sticking up too much to my liking. So, I just took my thumb and smooshed them down a bit.
These would look adorable in a cake box or some sort of pastry box.

Napkin Dress Tutorial – Perfect for a Shower!
Start by taking each side of your napkin and folding it to the center…
Then fold it in half again…
Cut the arms by making a triangle shape cut…
My napkins were too big for small dresses, so I cut off the top part…
Cut a V angle at the top to create the neckline (shoot, I forgot to take a picture of that,…you’ll figure it out)… Glue on a bow and Tada! Finished. Seriously easy and seriously cute!
Only problem is that people are going to think these are too cute to wipe their mouths with! I wanted to try a ‘bridal’ version. Here is what I came up with…
Tell your friends they were super hard to make! You deserve some glory!
Want A Bridal Version.....Here is an idea..
I actaully think that pearls would be prettier!!
